No My Brother, You've Got To Find Your Own
This is what my parties have been missing. Not anymore!

Foster Farms parody of the Dove Evolution Ads.
KFC, Superbowl User Gen Media Contest Yeah That's New. Whatever.
Chicken Dance? Right....they sell chicken.
According to Svedka, In the future I will be a cross between Grisly Adams, Alan Ginsburg and Osama Bin Laden. At least in looks that is! There new site lets you take photos and create your 'possible' future look in 2033. Not a bad lil app, and supposedly future me will be in contact. Can we start dating?
This is one of those scary, cultish 'the leader is watching' type mash-ups by Wreck & Salvage that uses some old classic advertising (My Buddy!). It is pretty freaky and surreal, but what would we expect from some funky digital artists with an editing system.
If I had a few million to throw against an idea to make a commercial for a flat screen TV, it would probably look like this too.
UPDATE: It seems that the Bravia commercial idea may have been stolen, read about it here.
In a new CGM contest, Vespa is asking it's fans to create a video about Vespanomics, it's green initiative encouraging people to cut down on riding in cars and up riding on scooters (full disclosure, I really want a GT60 in Orange) to save the world. There are some great posts up there, but Ms. G hipped me to this one where this die-hard created his own song and music video about Vespanomics and ya know what, it is pretty damn good! Time to brush off the old Ukelele...
So first W.Pants sends me the Cadbury Ad with a Gorilla Playing Drums. Pretty exciting as is, but then I discover the mash-ups and oh yes, it is on. This is why I love how the CGM can affect almost anything. The raw materials are there and anyone can throw their own sense of humor, taste or rampant lack thereof and create something new and beautiful. And all in all it works best for Cadbury who has a viral commercial, and then gets all the added exposure, remixed impressions, positive association and most importantly, people think they are cooler for it and may buy their product as a result.
Gorilla Eclipse Of The Heart
Gorillas Got Skillz
Gorilla In Da Club
The Original Gorilla/Cadbury/Air Tonight Version
Post-It Art, Stop Motion film and a bit of Time Lapse work into this MTN commercial that Marketing-Alternatif blogged about today. The effort is almost as impressive as the result.
